CAMDEN CONCERT

Once again, like a habit, I stood in front of an amplified Harrison Hope (pic:Ylva Rene Daffinrud Bjune), showing my support. Half the audience left with Harrison Hope when the main act got on stage.

Had a nice night out with Stella, Renee, Rob, at 'cantrememberthateither', nice little bar in Camden Town. My friend Jarle was coming to visit me this weekend but he had to reschedual due to fluxuating airline tickets. You are welcome any time soon though. London needs you.

This weekend we celebrate Rogers birthday with a bond-theme fest at the halls. I have not yet figured out what I am going to pull out of my closet. I was thinking the dwarf from that Roger Moore movie who got locked into that coffin. Any ideas?

PANCAKE

London is a big city. Too big to judge it either as a beautiful dynamic city, or the all singing, all dancing, asshole of the world. It is a specter. At least that is what the university shovels down our throat. Last night though, something got added to the up-side.

Pancakes. It was pancake day! England has dedicated an entire day to the pancake! So Renee, Stella, Robert and me got together and with the help of a smoothie machine, we cooked up a respectable line of pancakes with a curtsy flip every once in a while. On the side: bacon, blueberry, whipped cream, chocolate and banana.

One of Renee's flat mates walked in and said his mother didn't know how to make pancakes. How sad is that? Thank you mom. Thanks for all the pancakes.

HARRISON HOPE

Christian, a fellow Norwegian and friend (right) finally showed what all the fuzz was about when he and the rest of Harrison Hope performed at White Chapell in south west London last Friday. Even though it was a shitty stage, the guys kicked ass and surprised most of the audience who only paid a measly £3 to get in. This band will make it big. By the end of this summer we will all be tired of hearing them on the radio.

Umbrella assassins, the first act of the night, is also worth looking closer into. A clean cut mix between the Vines and Nirvana. Great!

The night ended with a nachspiel at the bassplayer appartment. Late night/early morning jaming with good friends and old whiskey.

RADIO

No need to download loads of illigal static noise, the worlds biggest radio is here, and it's free, well, at least for now. Spotify is the resurrection of my stolen music collection of precious punk and teenage angst. Thank you.
